not sure... but most people use a pressure regulator with all fuel pumps..
makes the needle & seat work with less pressure..

many of the pumps only go to 10 psi

but as You only need 3-4 psi...

its better to have a regulator...

My pump runs at over 8PSI. I needed a regulator. Bad things happened.

All of this has prompted me to try reviving my old leaky mech pump. I think the casting is warped or something. My facet knockoff is closest to the 40107. If the reg goes funny all hell breaks loose. My Weber has a fit!

It's funny what you find out even when you think you've done a thorough investigation. When I ordered the pump a couple of years back I distinctly remember checking on pressures and making sure it was the equivalent to the standard mechanical pump which I had been assured it was and remember being told that Facet only made one, now Mackaymanx has destroyed all my previous notions. I will crawl under my sons car and see if I can find a bloody number even though I've already ordered a fuel pressure reg. for it:mad:
