Hi, cip1.com have no half back seat covers for the 69' model (the US must have got full backs then i spose..), and the latest halfback seat covers
they sell are 67.
Will they suit? are they the same seat?
cheers,
Chris.
oh, and is off-white and beige the same?

.
i have a set of seat covers(brand new0 at home for a bug, i will have a look and see if they are low back or high back for you, i think they are an
ivory color from memory but may be wrong
If they are round tops they would probably fit, the only real difference is the 65-67 seats dont have the latching slide knob thing on the side and
had slightly different upholstry, fatchicks had basketweave.
Curious though why stick with lowbacks?
for less than the cost of covers you could get some much comfyier and way safer highback mainstream car seats from ebay or wreckers
It's not like much else is original on your bug

Lol, i'm strange and sick in the mind Joel.
I guess its more or less with the novalty, like what i got planned for this thing is such a hibrid between new age, rod and offroad, its gonna look
like a baby resulting from a whole nutcase orgy of different styles.
Gimme a couple months and sessions of whip lash on the dirt and i might change my mind about it lol. I spose it would make it harder for micro sleeps!

Hi Chris
NOT SURE about type 3s but beetles had different seats in the USA.. they were narrower... high backs...
I wouldn't use low backs... I like a bit of safety...
You need to be very accurate in buying from the USA...

Your alright mate, thats kool
yea ur right Lee, ordering from the states is a risk sometimes...
I was ignorant to the obvious once and ended up scoring a left hand drive brake master cylinder lol. It was a bit useless, but i gutted it and fitted
the new seals and shafts etc to my old one ( so pretty much used it as a rebuild kit)
