mirrors on bay panels
i have known for quite some time that the mirrors on my bus are not standard, they screw on with 2 small screws rather then twist on like the proper
ones, and they are big, black and plastic. when i removed them to check rust the other day however, i found that the hole for the original did not
exist, i could not see any bogging or repair work, the threaded hole just seemed not to exist. did the panel busses come without mirrors and mounting
points?

As far as I'm aware, they all had the screw-in mounts in the doors - even the panelvans.
It could be that someone has just done a good job of concealing the holes, or perhaps they even welded a panel over where the hole used to be.

I will have to get a torch in there and report back, but i couldnt even see the threaded nut at the back, just seems an odd waste of time, to conceal
so well.
