Gee, I don’t know Dave, that may well be true for some of them. My car did have some old hard ones on the front still. My parts book shows 2 x “111 707 197A Grommet – Bumper Bar Strap” for the front only on page 700-3. They will fit on the front in the normal way, although the strap is not very central to the hole. They weren’t on the rear because there is only half a hole, the bar strap goes flush against the inner guard panel. I’ll be buying 4 however and seeing if I can trim one side and get them in there all the same.
