Master cylinder seal kit for 1970 kombi

Hi guys,

I had leaking master cylinder in my 1970 lowlight bus and stripped it down last night to find the bore in perfect order but one of the seals worn.

Can I still buy seal kit for these as I'd rather use my original German bits than go buy a cheap after market cylinder? The ID: is 22.2 ID from what I could tell on my veniers.

Thank you,
Ross

I made a call to John Sherman (I think that's his name) in Gold Coast and he's calling me back Monday to let me know if he can get me seals. I called quite a few places today and they seem difficult to get.

Anyone?

I wanted to use my German parts too. Got the mc repair kit from http://www.rockauto.com/  and Caliper overhaul kits from http://www.biggred.co.uk/.  Bigg red have an eBay shop, and rock auto won't ship direct to oz sto ylou need to find an intermediate in the US to get it out here. I can say both provided good service once they figured out what their stock levels were.

these shops in the USA who won't send parts to Australia
is a real pain...

You need to find someone to collect Your parts and then send them all together,,

Some people even try to bench bleed the cylinder...
how in the hell can you do that????
too many holes...

well You can get the cylinder sleeved with kit fitted and done here fast in Australia.... disc brake cylinder kit problems...
