Pedal rake adjusted by the stop plate on the floor behind the clutch and brake pedal pivot. This should be adjusted first for how you like the pedals set.blompod wrote:The release lever is the one on the gear box? and how do you adjust the pedal rake? because it is quite forward....

The adjustment is easy to do,1st check the pedal rake as if he had 5" of free travel the pedal rake should be fairly well back towards the seat, adjust the brake pushrod if required to achieve 3mm free play then slide under the car and pull the release lever until it hits the thrust pad adjust the cable for 3-5mm clearance and that is it.psimitar wrote:Pedal rake adjusted by the stop plate on the floor behind the clutch and brake pedal pivot. Then you adjust both the brake pedal actuation rod and clutch pedal freeplay.
yes the release arm is on the passenger side of the gearbox. doing grumbles method means you don't have to keep get under the vehicle to make additional adjustments but you have to push against the arms spring force until you feel extra resistance of the clutch pressure plate so can be harder to do.
