some great shots there of his workmanship is it going to be fully restored or slightly modified ???

dont think i could ever own a Ghia too many repairs for me
The KG will be slightly modified, full restorations are 100K+... Paint is next - Anthracite grey with blackout bumpers etc, I've got some nice 17" AirEvo's for it, Leons motors has built me a 2054, Willem at Platinum will be trimming the interior in red leather and it will be low and lean... Something like the pic attached.. but convertible!

Anthracite grey nice colour with the red trim similar to my Oval

Are you having Over riders on the bumpers Smooth look boltless bars would be good as well
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

No over riders at this stage. Will see how the current bumpers come up after paint

Seeing your going to slightly modify the Ghia Do you have original headlights there very hard to find these days

Ive seen a Ghia done using Beetle headlights cutting the bucket into the guard at the same angle as the windscreen gives it a great look

Yes mate, original headlights. Slightly modified is more for the stance, engine & blushing ferrari red leather interior!

If you need any of that 'W' shaped rubber seal, that fits between the front apron and the inner guards, I have some...
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!
