Not that I'm being critical (far from it the build looks great and I have a huge admiration for anyone who can build this kind of thing), but I have to point out that if you have access to all the right equipment and a fully equipped workshop, a budget of $3k is possibly achieveable, however if you are a home builder who needs to outsource body and fabrication of the custom body parts, the budget would be a lot higher. Plus depending on the state the approvals and engineering would be a considerable portion of that budget.renebugrod wrote:I wanted to build a Hotrod with a budget of $3000. So far so good! I will be making a picture book of how it is done, so that anyone can build one themselves. Keep posted.
P.S The build is on hold at the moment as I am waiting for other people to Make some parts. Namely the roll bar and door gussets, as I don't have a pipe bender on rolling machine.
