Have seen on a beetle a sticker that says
"FARKENGRUVEN"
I've been told that this is German for, beleve it or not, fart driven.
Is this right or what?
i think it mean F@#KIN GRUVIN... what colour beetle was it?

FAHRVERGNUGEN;
Description of a pleasurable sensation,
Experienced when a car and it's driver are in mutual harmony, A unique driving experience, Pleasure, Satisfaction,
A feeling experienced by Volkswagen Drivers.
It is yellow (actually is mine and was on it when I bought it)
lol koool ive got one on my car too.
Ok,
nothing to do with farts
German for that is: Furz, the verb is furzen!
Fahrvergnugen (with 2 dots over the u )
means driving enjoyment / fun
sometimes it may read as FAHRTVERGNUEGEN..
again the Fahrt means drive or trip.
On the Autobahn exits you will read: AUSFAHRT....
entry signs are: EINFAHRT !!
Lotsafun with them words
so HAVE A GUTE FAHRT everybody.
email me for more punny and interesting word's
accurate dictionary translations here ( I was made in Germany 1947 !!)

i am sure there is one that says FARKENKRUZEN
or GRUVEN
deffinatlry aint german anyway, must be a play on the old advert
Its been around many years.
A play on the original ad.
Become so popular you see it on non veedubs
Seen it so much its lost its humour
Makes sense if you remember the original ad. There's also FUKENBROKEN
"Tell him 'We've already got one'"
luv the sticker.I actually had it my race vw for a photo shoot for zoom magazine. The photographer ask me what it met ,but i do now thanks boys.JVLRacing
I thought it was the sister town of FERKENBROKEN :thumb
Futue te ipsum!!!
i think it is meant to just be pronounced phonetically (is that how you spell it?)
anyway ...sound it out..........
its not german, but it looks very cool i think, but mine is a dodgy sticker with no plastice covering...so it has slowly been eaten away by the rain......
good thing though, as i think i will remove it to make room for my Valla sticker yay!
.
cool stickers! i have one too:thumb
Reimagined/Recycled/Upcycled Cool
It was an ad campaign in the 60's and the closest phrase you can translate it to in English would be: 'pleasure in driving'
