Oh well, there's a fair bit of stuff to do at the moment. But we got heaps of pressure gauge calibration done early this week, thankfully. We're going to measure some tide levels in the Snowy River estuary. That will be fun. Only downside is that two minibusses (ie - generic hire things, not kool volksy busses) have been organised, and the lecturer is not keen for us to take our own cars: going for a run in my bus back out that way would have been great fun.

So what's the deal with queensland? They hoarde the splitties up there do they? That '64 in Vic was owned by someone that sold a '61 too. It's been for sale for a while now I think.

Hey - someone I know reckons queensland cars are often real rusty, anyone know why this might be the case. Humidity? Is he full of crap?

Well I'm back!!! Jack had a great time at soft play and is pumping out Z's as we speak. Ahhhh..... peace and quiet.

I've got a guy coming to look at the car this arvo at 3pm but he has been harrasing me on the phone to make it earlier. A bit scary. Think I might enlist the services of my big, hairy, scary neighbour just incase this guy turns out to be a weirdo.

good luck on selling the car. is there something about buying a car at this time cause after months of tire kickers on the blue 1500 i get 2 enquiries in like 3 hours and they are both serious. ive also almost sold the sbug im driving and a kombi at the old mans

Um he was working at a council here in Melbourne. Didn't like it too much. At least he doesn't need to get up at 5am anymore, is what 'the good news' was. He said that.

Barls, get out of the navy and get into used car sales!!

Just spoke to the neighbour and he said he'll straighten the guy out.... his wife said to tell the guy that's comming over that the neighbour is my husband! LOL They are tops people. Oh, and I have someone else comming to look at it at 6pm tonight. I hope someone buys it soon.

im seriously thinking about it but i still have 18 months and a few days left on my contract so ive got to just think about it for the moment cause im getting about $80grand a year once everythings factored in(medical, dental and rent assistance)

I am going through a career situation, heres the thing, Am currently managing a camping store 21c but do all the work of the manager 1st in charge but dont get the pay. The job is under challenging me at the moment. I am a teacher by education but havent taught since 99, took long service never went back ( Taht job literally made me ill, had Chronic Fatique) Now I'm just doing and am bored with it somewhat, I dont get up excited to go to work but does anyone?????

Barls... I'm all for people doing that.

But let me clarify something.... direct mail or direct marketing is when you are asked for by name ie: Mr Joe Bloggs. All the other stuff is just marketing / advertising.

If you want to stop MOST of the direct marketing you get be it by phone, mail, email or SMS all you have to do is write all your details down

Email
Mobile

and add, I wish to opt out of the call, mail, email and sms services.
Send this to:

(You don't need a stamp)

and within 6 weeks your name will be added to a Do Not Contact register which can stop a large percentage of direct marketing.

yeah i dont have a problem with it its just when it the one that are scams that piss me off. you can not stop them cause its like spam emails they just start again from some where else.
