Please excuse the ignorance of me, but what's the difference between a beetle and a bug? In what sense are the terms used to differentiate vehicles by the volkswagen society?
Danken euch vielmals,
😀
Aurel.
they are both used to describe the type 1 beetle

Oh well we're back doing more of these fluent simulations. Got two computers doing the long ones, and we're working on the shorter ones. It's not that exciting.
I did some easy stuff on my bus today, since it was so nice and warm and sunny! I put in seatbelts and seats, so now it's an 8 seater (illegally). Now I just need someone knowledgable to write me a brief letter explaining some stuff, then I can march on down to VicRoads and get my 8-seater officialdom done. I did discover that one or two belts are slightly short, and anyone larger than me will have to sqeeze themselves to do the belts up. Only one or two, and only temporarily anyway.
what about the guys at volkshome or al at mr bug ether of these guys should be able to help you. not much is happening up here just waiting with baited breath for my body to turn up

I haven't dealt with those places before. I might try the VWbyImported place where I got my carbies looked at. Seemed nice enough. I'm not sure though, should I expect to be charged for time to write a letter? Could I write it, and get them to sign it maybe?
if they are a decent place they should just do it but sadly there arent many of these and the only mechanic i know down there is in mornington so get whoever is your vw mechanic to do it

If you choose to secretly have a chew on some crepe paper when no one is looking,, stick to red or orange as the blue or black will freak out the others in the staff room, they will realise there is something not quite right with your head.....

Thanks guys! I think you may have assessed my character falsely however. I'm really quite the boring prude in reality! 'tis only online that I get the urge to go crazy. Maybe it's this place, and I'm crazy vicariously? It's all your fault!
Ducks - it's a Steiner School at Mount Nathan called Silkwood, and it's lovely. The people are great, and it's not the usual "state school pump 'em out" mentality if you know what I mean???
Teaching was "Plan B" when I came back from Europe ("A" was Film and TV production), but teaching should have been plan A all along. It's just what I do best, and I love it. Sometimes we just aren't that honest with ourselves now are we?

:jesus busted... well nearly... I am actually his brother... (the one they DON'T talk about)... Popemobiles are for wusses,, I actually drive a combine harvester... painted pink...and grow cotton for a living. Thing is I don't like to piss the big bro' off, (last time we had a barney i ended up with a plauge of locusts)...*$2 returns to sewing a new button on the bumflap on his spare longjohns*.......
I admit I am this mentally retarded in real life..........
