Okay. Yeah... Dave, Steve, that's kinda the mischief I'm up to! There's some engineers requirements that I might have to abide by regarding volume/displacement with worn pads blah blah blah and I'm doing some homework, just in case...1302Steve wrote:Hi
I ran 4 spots front & rear with a stock 19 mm one. I just wondered what you were upto.

They have some info on VW, Porsche, and Audi ones. They make no mention of the Golf one tho.

Does the Golf MC have two different bore sizes, like a Porker 944 one?Buggy Brad wrote:There was several reasons we started using the Gold M/C. - the cost in relation to the RHD Beetle one ( not so expensive anymore ).
- Wanted to run the brake line down the tunnel to keep it out the way and the golf outlets let us do this.
- As it was originally for Buggies the Golf M/C came with a dual circuit bottle on top of it which was great for buggies.
- Lastly the valving in the Golf M/C is slightly different to the dual circuit beetle one and we found it better for the disc conversions on the lighter buggies.
