I've said it before and I'll say it again - Our cars have more soul and personality in one wheel nut (or bolt as the case may be) than all their cars put together.

Bigman is definitely a closet case.
When I owned hoonbug, I never had so many women talk to me about my car. In fact, it's the only car I've ever owned which people talk to me about it all the time, at least once a month.
I think if you drive the car you like, you're more "manly" for driving what the hell you please than some bozo who drives a huge truck around to please his peer group. I buy cars for me, not the homophobe in the next lane.
Unbelieveable that they're slamming another make. I like anybody who looks after their car and presents it nicely. I may not like V8's or dinosaur underpinnings of US cars, but they are very nice to look at. There was a bunch of Corvettes at Williamstown last weekend and every one of them was pristine and detailed to the hilt. Very impressive.
People like bigman are not real car enthusiasts. Ignore 'em.

"My Trans Am has more soul than you" How can a car designed in the 1930's and 40's and up untill recently was the most produced car in the world, and was still being produced up untill last year, have no soul? My car is 42 years old. nearly half a century. I wanna see your Trans AM in 42 years minus however old it is now. "Who the fuck cares about being in a buggie on the beach. " I do. As well as millions of others around the globe. I have the ability to go almost anywhere I want, when I want. you don't. My car hasn't even cost me a 1/8th of yours and I have the satifaction of knowing that the majority of work was done by me. Plus my car is unique. I don't think you would know the feeling of driving and owning a car that is one of a kind and you probably never will. I pity you. You that have such a close minded view of the world and everyone and thing in it.
