It was a great spot....sunny on minute cloudy the next but the rain held off pretty well...that was waiting for me in Melbourne...the left over from Adelaiode Saturday down pours!!!!

It always seems to be the way when you get to an event...trying to find the forum people...it's hard...usually you find yourself asking the non forum people who look at you dumb :duh
It's a nice relaxed event...and you do have some nice rides over there .... n now I can say I've been to a Volks Fest 😎

The beetle cake tin I bought was great ..... we came up with all sorts of uses for it.....I can have beetle shaped food every day of the week....n d dog can use it too .....AND I thought I could only go as far as baking a cruise of beetles :party

The thing I like about the show is its very casual, shame it was a dry zone.

Great pics and a good weekend had by all . . . just apity all the VW places closed at lunchtime on Saturday.. . . . we discovered them too late :cry. . . . not quite the same looking over fences and thru windows. Anyway . . now we know . . next time its hit the VW haunts on the Saturday morning.

I live 3 streets away from the wreckers(Volksauto who are one of the few places in S.A. that have old parts) and about 500 yards from VSI.(the shop with the goodies).
This area is a bit of a VW heaven.
