Just got some flat 4 eyebrows and i can't seem to get the bastards to stay in place. They just want to pop out.

I'm trying to fit them to the '71 beetle.

Thanks for any help

there made for early headlights pre 67 and if you fit them to the round later type they headlight brows require a little gentle bending to get them reformed to suit the round frame.
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

When I put them in my 72 fastie had to bend them but only enough so they are a tight fit.

Hmmm was a bit more than that. Had to grind down the bottom corners a teensy bit so that they'd stay in. The distance between the ridge they're supposed to sit on and the curved edge around the front was too narrow for the crome mounting. look pretty cool now though.

pliers and a rag squeeze the hell out of the lower bits and pull the rest out from the edge it takes patience a pair of pliers side cutters for the bits where the light adjusts a firm hand and eventually they fit nice and snug
