Me and Nita had a great time, first ever drive in, we didnt have them in the UK as the windscreen would have iced over and the rain may have obscured the view a bit.
But bloody good, enjoyed it, certainly go again.

Congrats on another great night. the pies were delicious hhhhmmmm...... pies. Will have to organise a better time to meet so we can arrive in convoy next time. Bert has done a lot of work on his kombi hopefully he will bring the factory cab next time. Set the date so we can put it in the diary. cheers:thumb

Got home the other night about 2.30am (NSW time) then
had to get up at 6am to go to work......yuk
Hopefully the next one I won't be working that weekend.

was great to meet everyone,,,,,me left earily had to work at 5am sunday,,, got home from work sunday at 1.30 had a sleep and got dressed and went to work,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but it was 5 pm not am drove to work in the arvo thought it was the next day,must be to much bourbon and marbles rollin in the old brain.felt like a ,,,,,,,,,,,getting to old for late nites,,,,,,,,,,colleen
Lol! Eirecooled the Kombi is called Bert, the owner is James, and hopefully we will bring the Karmann beetle next time. It goes for a roadworthy this Thursday and hopefully registered within a couple of days. Then it depends on interior being done. If interior not done we can only being if not raining as the roof is ventilated :thumb Pam

There was someone from another chapter that had a couple before our's. It was stated that we took over their idea, of being a regular monthly thing. I don't want to be a part of that, so Ill just remove myself from it. If they set a date that fit's in with me Ill go, but if it dosent and some other PPL want to come with me when I can make it, there's nothing I can do about that. We are all free to choose what we want to do.
