ok people a guy up the road from me has an old rusted out parts kombi for his good one but the wife wants it gone and he wants to part it out. the deal is if i can find people to buy the fridge, cupbourds, seats, bed, poptop.....etc then he will sell me the 2 litre type 4 twin carb engine for 250 bucks. (this engine was rebuilt 10k ago...bargain!) anyway people its got that kinda fake veneer panelling over the cupbourds and fridge etc they all match and are in great condition also anything else u want off the kombi ......you come take it off and pay the man and take it away easy. ill try and get some pics in the next couple of days. The fridge is an electrolux 3 way i dont know what kind of pop top it is but it works well and just needs a hose from what i could see. the bed is great and just have a roof rack on top of it at them moment. i beleive this roof rack to be for sale as well. front bullbar good conditon and front mesh visor also in good condition. sliding door has rust under window seal and has sliding window so rick has first dibs on the window. steering wheel in good nick i dont think the seats are for sale as he wants to put them into his good kombi ill find out about that. scooter has first dibs on front screen dozza. and fossil i know i know beleive me its pissing me off just as much......i would have been able to have this stuff gone if the owner hadnt have been away for a week before i moved as i was still living there and had easy access at any time..

Hi Nick - know these things take time and distance you are now from the bus makes life harder and that work and owners availability all have to be co-ordinated.

it will be just after lunch as i have to work untill 2am the night before. its all go with the owner.

i want as many people as i can get to come on this sunday because it saves me doing multiple trips.

I will U2U people with directions, i wont be posting them here.

and yeah fossil thats cool 1 for u and 1 for me.

i have basic tools but if u want something remember u need to take it out yourself so come prepared.

Kombrick i dont know how to take out a pop top, i hope u do lol.

ill aim to get to my dads place up there at about 10.30am sunday.and i will have my mobile on me yes though theres not excellent reception out there so if u call. let it ring for a while and ill dash outside to a place where i can hold a conversation.

if u can aim to be there about midday. if u get lost (pretty hard to do) i know the place pretty well if u just give me a land mark and i can come to you.

Cheers Nick, got the directions OK, will see you at no. 7 Sarus Rd about midday. I'll bring all the tools I need, trailer etc. I've never pulled out a poptop either but will probably just take the canvas, the lid and the hold down doovries anyway as the base unit of mine is in good nick, don't want to disturb all the interior lining etc etc. I'll have a drill to remove the poprivets holding the bottom of the skirt down, the battery drill died but will bring long extension cord and electric drill plus an angle grinder in case any of the screws, nuts etc are rusted in, as well as any sockets, spanners etc I think I'll need.
