AVD comp - calender - now done $18

ClassicVW(pacific) · 2004-09-24T06:11:51+00:00

Please all entries by E-mail to ClassicVWpacific@aol.com We put the following idea to Jim, who has replied and suggested we put it to members for thier feedback. Hi Jim, Have been mulling over on a thought I had, I dont know whether you would be interested or if you have already done something similar. How about a members show and shine, it would be more of a photographic skills competition really. Members post a (1) photo of their vehicle(s) trying to highlight what makes theirs special, or their vehicle with a fantastic backdrop. Maybe not just a normal everyday photo of a car Then a voting system by members to pick the best photo or photos split into types. We would be willing to sponsor trophies or vouchers as I am sure others would too. Would appreciate your thoughts If this would cause an increased workload for you, I would gladly accept emailed pictures and I would get together a judging panel from my local area to pick the winner(s). Its just a bit of fun and truly national, maybe an excuse for everyone to get clicking. Good advertising for aussieveedubbers as I am sure VWMA would be interested too Cheers Roy Reply here or give us your suggestions on ClassicVWpacific@aol.com [Edited on 24-9-2004 by ClassicVW(pacific)] [Edited on 2-12-2004 by ClassicVW(pacific)] [Edited on 15-12-2004 by ClassicVW(pacific)] [Edited on 15-12-2004 by ClassicVW(pacific)]:vader [Edited on 19-12-2004 by ClassicVW(pacific)] [Edited on 9-1-2005 by ClassicVW(pacific)] [Edited on 20-1-2005 by ClassicVW(pacific)] [Edited on 27-1-2005 by ClassicVW(pacific)]

we will be sending some no doubt.
They should be ready by the weekend 28th January.
Running from Feb 2005 to end of Jan 2006, hope everyone likes.
I ran out of time for one reason or another and initially entries were very slow but they should look pretty good.

Ok, all done, about time I hear you say.
I would have liked more time, due to the size of photos we have had to go for A4 size instead of A3, but they look good and hopefully others will think so too.
This Calender runs from Feb 1st 2005 to Jan 31st 2006

Cost is $18 inc postage or $16 pick up

I will be contacting all those who showed interest, if you dont recieve an E-mail or U2U please let me know.

Cheers
Roy
