Um, no, but it's not entirely up to me.

The process is this. From time to time, we need new moderators. We put up names for consideration in the private moderator's area, and when there's general (or enough) agreement amongst the existing mods, the proposed victims^Wmoderators get promoted after they say yes* 🙂
