The funny thing is I have been all along that border of Tennesee and Missispi so I keep picturing all the different places he could be and what the surrounding would be like.
Its a shame he attributes his good fortune to a ficticious man made Entity.
Rather than his will to live and to Shock,
Why did this "God" find it neccasary to destroy his healthy body to start with?
There will be no better answer than "God works in Mysterious ways"
What a shame people cant think for themselves and follow the clues instead of jumping to a conclusion of "It Must Be an act Of God."
But then again, that part of the country is full of Christian Zombies.
So Much So that its actually scary and sickening.

For the sake of people who aren't zombies, keep religious subjects off the forum,
This is Aussie Veedubbers, not the church of Aussie veedubbers.
Your signiature says plenty about your angle on life as does your post, as does your story about how your Grandmother decided that she had all the answers for the Chinese people who actually posess a religion of their own that they are happy with, and from what I've seen floggs christianity ten fold as far as making sense and doing good for mankind.
I have no problem with people who belive in a purpose but when they disresect the other people by trying to force or induce their religion on everyone else, I get very aggitated,
I am the man who loves to show christian door knockers how gullible they actually are, of course I am out voted by their peers and they will be rebrainwashed very quickly.
News flash, Man made God not the other way around.

why other people believe different things and consider that they might actually understand more about the world than you or your army of Zombies, and that you may actually have a lot to learn.
Why dont you remove this post and make you'r signiature not related to religion and see how you go learning to accept other opinions as Valid instead of Patronising me and summoning your brothers in gullibility to your battle.

I agree too. I'm not exactly a fan of proselytizing. And don't get me started on Hillsong church or any of those pentecostal churches 🙂 I think people should find their faith rather than have it coerced on them.

If someone asked for a faith, then it would be fair to reply, although probably out of the scope of this forum.
Nobody requested this emotional piece of propaganda, especially the way it has been tied to the subject matter of the forum.
I know the original poster doesn't mean any harm by this story, its just that some might take offence, especially the conversion of the 'heathen' Chinese.. 😉

Two things that should never be discussed with other people are religion and politics....its just upsets and alienates everyone.
Lets just leave it at everyone is entitled to their own opinion you don't have to agree with it, but don't try and push yours on other people. Then we'll all get along.

religion and politics should be discussed and argued. Where ever people talk. This place is and has always been about more than just cars.
However blatant prosletising and "evangelism" should be avoided.

I bet if a post went up about how someone getting smashed up turned them to athiesm and how they now detest the idea of the "God of Love" it would quickly be deleted. Glad to see that at least from some people the reaction to this one is equitable.

Actually scholars tend more to the olive skinned light brown hair model. I'll be up front with you, I'm a committed Christian. Not only that but I'm currently studying at what most critics believe to be the most conservative bible college in the Southern Hemisphere. Most people would probably accuse me of being a fundamentalist.
However, I just like you, have serious problems with organised 'religion'. Does that surprise you?
