Soak liberally with WD 40

then

Option 1 - breaker bar. If you have a wheel brace slip a long bit of water pipe over one of the cross pieces and heave on that

Option 2 - drive to a local tyre dealer and get them to rattle gun it open for a couple of beers.
Then do it back up with a wheel brace

Yep :thumb

I can pretty much guarantee the frustration/effort of trying to get the remaining nuts off will be more than that to put the other wheels back on and drive down the servo/tyre shop :P But who knows, you might get lucky - may have to build your forearms up over the next few days "some how" and then try again. :o

also try hitting the end of the spanner while standing on it. the shock can sometimes break the nut loose.

next time dont do them up so tight, if you get a flat in the middle of nowhere then you are shit creek without a paddle.

I have a 1/2 inch drive with the correct size socket's for both wheel nuts and the axle nuts. with a 700mm piece of pipe, no wheel nut or axle nut has ever been a problem!! thats why you use a spanner!! (still have a wheel brace the spanner is just for when they are stuck)

if you do the bloody things up to tight you WILL distort the disc or drum look at the factory torque its not extension bar tight

mate give the nuts/bolts a belt (or a couple of belts) square on the ends with a decent size hammer this sometimes shocks/jars them enough to help loosen them off.
good luck

in the beginning, the universe was created.
this made alot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
