Date Now changed to Saturday 25th of June and new location at Dromana Drive in. Come along for a great night with all things Herbie. I wish to apolagise for all the stuffing around but we have finally got a great night now with a very reasonable showing time. I hope to see as many cars there on the night. Yep. Just had a fortnight off, plus by the time we get to Melbourne, it will be dark, and driving Nellie in the dark is generally a no-no.

There has been a bit of a breakdown in communications not with the Drive-In but with the promotion of the film by Village

The Drive-In would have been happy to show this at a more reasonable time...but the club has pulled out of involvment as it was going to make it much too late a night for most of our members who would have like to attend...

The film will still be shown but watch out in the papers for details...now

One of the reasons it's been Cancelled by the Club is because the Drive in only want Air Cooled Beetles there.

Kombis, Type 3, and water cooled aren't welcome.

Yeah, sounds like it would still be fun. But better if heaps of cars were there. Would be good with all VW's, but can you imagine a whole section of the drive in filled with beetles...! It would look great. I can sort of see their point.

If it starts at 11 it will be finished before 1, it's a kids film isn't it? they never go longer than an hour and a half. Be home by 1:30 latest.

I'm there if other people are still going.
