I am getting rid of my aircooled spares as the bus is getting Suby motor.
Item - Heater assitance fan and relay. Comes with bracket, and both side tubes (the ones that go on to the heat exchangers. Tubes are near new and the RH tube has the original oval shaped clamp.
No pic sorry, but it definitley works hard and fast.

This is the assist fan on the motor. Helps push more hot air to the front of the bus
If your fan is screaming its proberly because itshitting the sideof the case takeit out and reshape I bet you this will do the trick mine was doing the same on the drivers side

Where did you get the heater tubes? Went to about 10 shops, no1 had it.... went to a tube shop and he had this other stuff... wanted $180 for a metre of it???? wat a joke.
The tubes on the assist motor were easy to get. So easy I cannot remember where, but no hassle at all.
The first bus we had I got a replacement tube for under the bis in the middle to rplace the original steel rusted tube and that I had to get from Purple Pig and it cost about $100 for 2 metres.

Is that stuff the same as stock? The stock tubes dont fit over my passenger side duct. Where bouts did you get that stuff?!?!?
It was about three years ago and I really can't remember. I might have gotten a VW guy in Clayton to get it for me when I was working that side of town. Volksbaru I think. He ordered it in from somewhere. He may even have got it from VVDS in Sydney as he got a few other bits for me from there.
