Why is it better? phpBB was free, thats why I have it. I havent done anything with it, just use as is, striaght out of the box. With the traffic I am getting though, almost a waste of space.

phpBB
Free. GPL'd
No attachments
Insecure - 16 patch sets since April 2002, an average on one patch set every 2.3 months
Basic previous topic history - posts since last visit
Very flexible ACL based permissions

Ultima (nee XMB)

Free. GPL'd
Multiple attachments per post
More secure - one small patch since May 2004, an average of one patch every 13 months
Flexible topic history
Lots of forum tools and options
Lots of member tools and options
Flexible plug-ins for URLs across the top header
Simple permissions structure - easier to get right, harder to do esoteric stuff
XHTML 1.0 compliant (mostly ... a few bugs)

I could go on, but ... I wont.

What browser are you using? Some browsers, notably Opera, center the page due to a rendering bug.

The following browsers work fine:

Safari 2.0 - Mac
Firefox 1.0.4 - Mac and PC
IE 6.0 SP1 / XP SP 2 - PC

I had everything left yesterday, but today it is all centred. Fix it man...tis driving me nuts 🤪

I went looking at the source and got bamboozled by how many times the word center appears. Funny thing is, I saved it to my desktop and opened it in frontpage. In the 'normal' view, everything is left, but in 'preview' its centred.

If you add "text-align: left;" to the tablerow class it fixes it.

When I edit posts I seem to get a "nn" put in there????
