ya know rob..40's swing dancing? that's what i do..the charleston..lindy hop, 6beat etc..it's mad fun. and we all dress up in period clothes..like..green us army uniforms..real retro.. 😀

Can't get a pic of the whole car as the body is still away, but I am hoping to visit him this week, just got to get time off work to drive all the way up there. I'll get a few of the pan this afternoon if I can start working on him. Am looking for houses and cleaning up the mess after cyclone went through my house last night.

Ahh ha.
I was thinking it was a bit more sinister than that! We have a German club up here I go to and they have Jazz and swing nights. Great music to hear live, most of the PPL I see there are my age or older very few young PPL. I spose it has caught on more in the southern state's and is only for the select older trendy's like me!

I know of Swing Patrol through a friend of mine who runs JW Swing Orchestra. I have met a few people over the years John has introduced me to from SP. I am moving to Ring wood too, so Ringwood swing would be close.

Fleur and I got the keys to our new (renovators delight) house this weekend. 🙂
We spent all day yesterday moving all of the stuff from the yard and the shed from the old house. Today we ripped upp all of the old carpets and lino. Monday (tomorrow) the restumpers will be working away for a week getting the old rotten blocks out and putting new concrete ones in. It is gonna be go go go
We were going to polish the floors, but the boards are not good enough, so we are gonna put a floating floor in, then we can move the rest of our stuff.
There is a single shed that is pretty rough, but the plans are for a new 7metre by 13metre weatherboard shed. room for 6 cars and two motorbikes.

yeh go swing dancing. it's $12 dollars for an hour less and then free dancing for another hour, and then $6 if you want to do another lesson.

We will have to hold off on the swing dancing. We are gonna be those poor mortgaged couples who are trying to reno a house while paying it off. 🙁
Good news is we are off to Cuba in 5 weeks for a month and that we have already paid for before getting the house, so that wont affect the payments 🙂

Okay
got a few pics and will post them when I can of the pan with front bean attached, spindles on, and gearbox mounted (temporarily though as I want to tidy it up before I fix it on properly). Didn't get to the brake lines, but have managed to reassemble my pedal assembly.
Anyone else work on their rides this weekend or were you all out enjoying them instead?

morning all ;)
did the brake, seals well actually one side because the place i brought them from said "sur sure mate this will do the frint end" im guessing they forgot that theres 2 pistons each side. so inturn i only had enough seals to do one side :vader
worked on my mates splitty again last night, he's startin to get a lil impaitent *sp* and doesnt realise if we take short cuts now that'll look terrible when we paint it. (we're doing the rust repairs and smoothing dents) :sandrine
