Hmmm
now the question is, what are you hoping to achieve? a hard finish that will be resistant to stone chips? salt or de-iceing chem? or just something that looks sweet?
I went for a nice hard finish as we don't have to deice our roads
🙂 and I live in a dryish part of the country now.
I have used POR15 so far and (am a lot further along in the rebuild than these pics suggest) am very happy with it so far. I have dropped the pan on its edge on concrete and chipped the concrete and have dropped numerous objects on it while rebuilding.

My beam is now painted in POR15 Hard Nose paint and so far I have no complaints.
There is a new paint that has been advertised here called Rust Bullet. Not sure if anyone here has used it, but apparently its pretty good from US folks advice.
I am sure that both of those paints are available somewhere over your way.
See if you can get 68AutoBug , (real name is Lee Noonan) to jump in. His car looks wild with colour. You can see a bit of it from his avatar (the pic off to the left) on this link about soundproofing.

Thats my suggestions for you
🙂 have fun and good luck.
