Hey
I am trying to remove my door trim so i can have a look why my window winder is sticking.. i've got the door handle bit off (the chrome thing), the window winder, the map box thingy, and now it still feels like theres something holding it in around the middle of the door.
My door trim is the type with the arm rest thingy running the whole length of the door, with a chrome strip running along that.
I've removed the chrome strip but there doesn't seem to be any screws under that.
Arrgh!
Please help!

ok so i have a 69 but i think its the same, because it took me a while to figure out. You have to lift the whole door trim up. So unhook all the outside holders then grab it and yank it upwards. The trim pushes in and slides down to put it back in

Yeah - theres a hook at the back of the door handle. You need to now just lift the trim up, and it should come off the hook.

dont forget to check that the glass isnt just sticking in the runners before you rip your door apart. Thats why mine was sticking when it got halfway down.

I found on my Fastie that the slider that winder arm moves along was very dry with no grease. I Cleaned it and put lots of grease and it worked much better.

Yeah.. i noticed there was alot of moving parts that felt dry.. i say "felt" because i couldn't really see anything.. lol.. but yeah, once i get around to it i'll grease everything in there..

Also, how do you stop the window sticking in the runners?
