Country Buggy tyres recommendations wanted

Can someone advise/recommend new tyres for a standard Country Buggy? 15x4.5-inch rim? I would like close to original, not fatties, on std Kombi/Buggy rims...nn[ Edited on 8-7-2005 by VWCOOL ]

Thanks for the advice on original sizes and what you have - i can get Coopers through my local tyre bloke so I will ask him. I am not too concerned about the spare... but if the Cooper is smaller that the original fitment, it should fit under the front bonnet okay...?nn

Any more suggestions... 15x4.5-inch rims with an off-roadish tread pattern

Antique Tyres in Melbourne(o3 94584433) have Coopers M&S tyres 165/15 in stock. They work a treat on standard CB rims with very little road noise. They are semi agrressive for offroad use. There is only two in stock as at today but more currently on order. Cost is approx $110 a corner. The spare will only fit under front bonnet if tyre is deflated due to rounded sidewalls as against the original winter tread cross ply which was standard 5.60/15 or max 5.90/15. I still have three original cross plys on my CB.

Okay, I will call them and check - my tyre bloke in Sydney rang Cooper and was told that size was NLA...
