I figure it would be great for different tyre sizes, the one I'm looking also has four resetable odometers and trip meters and a built in tacho. Think it should work well but not sure how easy it will be to read on the track.
i have a bike one hooked up, used for nav runs but not auper acurate for distance, as it averages the speed. Great for speed though!!
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!
Go hard or go home!!!!

I like your option Steve. It's got some nice features. how does it sence speed? what type of probe and how do you plan to mount it?
Hi
It just uses a magnetic pickup, I can mount it on my front hub or on a CV at the rear.
My new car is a 1303 and I want to do something different with the dash, maybe something like this below.
When I bought my Spa Speedo/Tacho it was cheaper to buy from the US than the UK.

I've got the MX6 dash that goes with my motor. I am currently resetting it into my dash along with the digital climate control.
Yes the instruments are digital, and use a digital pick-up, but are analouge dials.
I am also installing a Jay-car speedo correction kit so the speedo and odometer are correct. I have been using a temporary (for the last 2 years) sticker over the speedo to make it correct.

I have been looking around for a digital dash my self. Has any one heard of Dakota digital gauges?
Dakota is what I'm looking at, Planing to make a copy of the early style gauge set up for oval bugs in the center of the dash, with a 80mm speedo/tacko and two 50 mm for oil temp and pressure and the other fuel and volts. They say it will take about 30 day to make and send over from the USA. Am also looking to replace the original speedo with a SPA tacko/speedo, they say they can built a custom 0-7000 rpm tacko on request.
