Nah...get yer own. "Down South" wouldn't be able to handle it.We build our houses to take this type of torture. As long as the insurance companies don't run away like they did last time.....wouldn't pay out for water damage..:vader

well at least some goodness may come from that drestuctive force being sweet swells..
the rain would be a bonus as well but not 1 meter of it in a matter of hours.. as it will just wash everything away..
good luck members caught in its path..
we are thinkin of you guys n your rides..
try n stay safe

My father in law is in ElArish (turnoff to Mission Beach). His house is GONE,cousins house across the road is roofless and full of water. They were unlucky ,as strange as it might seem, they had no "eye" of the storm as they were just out of it's range so the wind changed with no warning and they had no time to move elsewhere. My cousins text message at 5am this morning was "*uck" (his reply to me asking how he was going)Havn't heard from them since. Hope everyone is safe.Noticed there is another one off the coast now as well.......:vader

8 pics up so far on the news.com.au website.
http://www.news.com.au/gallery/0,10149,38596-1,00.html

No pics from Innisvale yet, most of the carnage pics are from Cairns which only really got the edges.

Surely the aussieveedubber community can get more pics than the news.com.au website 🙂

This guy thinks it's safe to be outside, but the palm tree down the road disagrees

Just been through Innsifail on the way up to Cairns on saturday 27th may , It was a real eye opener, after 2 months to see all the damage. Some of the trees are starting coming back but it just goes for kilometer after kilometer. I was a bit stuned to see how big an area was affected.
