Iris (My Yellow 72 Bug) would be a Horse, very quick off the mark, touchy steering, very responsive, sometimes goes too fast, but can be temperemental. Heaven forbid if I accidentally call her Ava!!!!
Ava (My 67 Blue Bug) would be a Dog, reliable, does what she's told and starts every time, but a bit of a plodder in the cold mornings.
