All my mates have deserted me for New Years so im spending it with my VW friends....should be heaps of fun. I going to go easy on the :beer this year...

Having kids makes christmas awesome but kinda brings new years down. I'll be doing something pretty sedate to be decided on sometime late on sunday afternoon no doubt. I wont be drinking too much as new years day I have a 6 mile (running) race around Mt Kembla assuming its not 46 degrees again like last year. Its a handicap race so I actually have a pretty good chance of winning it as I am an annoyingly consistant runner with 4 races within 3 seconds this year. Besides I had my 14 hour all night drinking session with introduction to yager bombs on boxing day and being a reasonably old fart you shouldnt do that too often.

Good luck to everyone else who will be partying hard though :beer and lots of new year tic tacs and cyber kisses to all the ladeeez :kiss.... esp you thor ya dirty forum lurker

Montreal.... circus show and a party in an 1820's theatre. It will be a heaps of fun, though all going to plan, I most likely will not remember it....

looks like its going to be a new years in the forest, with good loud music, lots of pretty lights, lots of good friends, shiny happy people dancing 🙂
in the beginning, the universe was created.

I'll be in Brisbane with friends drinking on her balcony thinking Thank god 2006 is over!!!!!! Would have like to have gone to Woodford, until i got an insurance letter about a little prang i had- goodbye money.. 🙁 Bring on 2007 i say :beer

I started 4th, 3min 16secs behind the first runner. Must have went out too fast because I caught 2 people well before halfway mark, didnt catch the other one until 1km from finish, and then I got swamped by heaps of people on the last hill. Ended up finishing (unofficially) 17th on handicap 1min 6 secs behind with net time of around 39 minutes. Not too bad for a fatarse who hasnt ran there before but still dissappointed. On the bright side... now I can have my New Years celebration
