was one of the first things that we picked up also... but i guess its for the show as any SANE person would not allow them to learn in a manual car...Flintstones wrote:I was watching it tonight and found it annoying that for most of these people that have been on there L's for years, are being taught in manual cars by professional instructors.

those signs are more for our overseas friends who are let loose on our roads, but having said that i have just seen someone driving down the wrong side of a 4 lane divided road (2 lanes of which are filled with parked cars :o )amazeer wrote:nothing about Australian drivers suprises me. We have hundred of thousands thousands of signs everywhere saying "KEEP LEFT". If you dont know that one then you shouldnt even have a licence to breathe. And whats worse... I've seen a quite a few people stuff it up.

thats a waste of money too. I've only driven on Australian and NZ roads, havent been to any other country since I was 6 years old, but I know what side of the road most of them drive on. UK, pakistan india sri lanka, most(maybe all) pacific islands, japan, south africa are left. Anyone else that matters is right. dont need no signs. You can generally tell by the location of the steering wheel too. Presumably when the french people step foot out of the terminal and nearly get run over they should think 'SACRE BLEU!" and come to realisebaybuscamperkid wrote:those signs are more for our overseas friends who are let loose on our roads, but having said that i have just seen someone driving down the wrong side of a 4 lane divided road (2 lanes of which are filled with parked cars :o )amazeer wrote:nothing about Australian drivers suprises me.
