Exactly what I'm doing with the 58...putting efi on it running twin IDF bolt on throttle bodies... :thumb Was looking at going microtech too, will have to give you a call when the time hits...Boostn wrote:ida kit NEW $2600.00
idf kit NEW $1950.00
NEW titanium retainers $225
waste of money, spend more and go efi !!!
It will drive nicer, use less fuel, and make more power !!
I have IDA and IDF throttle bodies for $300.00ea
ALSO
tps /injectors /linkages /arms /pumps /rails / vac kits......anything you need we can custom make out of billet alloy.
We use and sell Microtech computers starting at $820.00
thanks

May I suggest using Vee Dub Parts Unlimited instead... lots of people in OZ have had issues getting their parts from that other supplier...lugnuts wrote:Serranos in L.A have IDAs for $990us thats with linkage and manifolds,i reckon with USPS air freight you could have em on your doorstep for apprx $1250aud not including duty, who knows you might be lucky and not get stung for duty :duh

try emailing the ebay guy in the link i posted above, even if it is not listed in his shop, his knowledge and communication is very good, he will most likely have some.62ragtop wrote:......just realize what i need is actually called the auxiliary venturie. Ive had about 10 orders and the only one i had trouble with is the last one,i think all the shops are running behind CB is running behind too,Serranos are great, you only have to ring him once after that your card is on file then its just an email with your order and wait a week or two.:kissxornge666x wrote:May I suggest using Vee Dub Parts Unlimited instead... lots of people in OZ have had issues getting their parts from that other supplier...lugnuts wrote:Serranos in L.A have IDAs for $990us thats with linkage and manifolds,i reckon with USPS air freight you could have em on your doorstep for apprx $1250aud not including duty, who knows you might be lucky and not get stung for duty :duh
I have used him before here in the US, and picked up from there, but people overseas seem to get messed around with their parts.
Parts Unlimited have all the stuff in stock, know exactly what they are selling you, and best of all will ship USPS to Australia instead of UPS.
I know people will say support the local shops.... but you can land them for approx $1300au, thats half of what was quoted at $2600au...big difference!

62ragtop wrote:Thanks for the great info guys, i think serrano is great as well and so is a CB as they are qucik and so far havent missed a bit. The only one thing is seranno forgot to mail me some parts but it was sorted straight away and next thing i know, its on my door step.
I would really like to support locals but sometimes local's price are just so much higher then local......sorry to say so guys.
Since we are on the topic, i had one bad experience with express air freight delivery. When my goods landed in Australia, a company called me up and say that there are some charges for my goods. It ended like AUD$400 more!! I was not informed by the seller on the US side. Does that sound right? Express air delivery, not nomal air freight. On top of that i was informed that AQIS decided to check my goods and more charges occur?!!! Does that sound right?? If AQIS wants to check, i have nothing to hide so go for it but with my expenses?
Below is the charges occured:
International terminal fee.
Airline document fee.
Terminal handling charges.
Delivery charge
Custom clearance fee.
Cargo management re-engineering fee.
PLUS!!!! AQIS inspection fee!!! and on top of that!!!!!! AQIS inspection facility Fee!!!!!!!
Anyone in this industry can explain to me what the FXXK is all that??? If its right then we are all in the wrong business!!! Highway robbery man!!! I am still in dispute with them....any info will be great!
Sorry guys, dont mean to nag but i guess i got a bit excited there.....But i have learn my lesson, be patient...wait for a week...dont ask for next day delivery.....
