Dak-A-Tak needs help(carbs)

Warwick isn't far off !!!!!!! I'm trying to get 3 cars to warwick ( 48-ida , Yellow car , choptop red&black ) ,the
problem is I have put my scat motor in the yellow car out of the choptop .
The choptop is getting a 2500cc type 4 out of my duel cab that I bought lately .
The car had a fire when a carb fitting broke off ,witch melted left carb and the heat also damage right carb .
It also burnt a hole beside one spark plug ,right through into chamber .(having this welded up).

AS my money is all going into Dak-A-Tak yellow car rebuild , I was hoping to BORROW a set of 45 Dellorto carbs for warwick week-end .
AS I do not know some-one that has a set .
They will only be used there !We, maybe able to work out a sponsor deal (a ride in car ,signage for business ,or something )and after event work out a SALE maybe !

I'm just trying to get as many cars to the event!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a set of 40 dells not doing anything at the moment you can borrow. Will need rejetting through as was for 1776.

I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

Although I have to confirm it with Dave, I may also be 'borrowing' these 45 dells for Warwick. Unfortunately I don't think I will have my EFI and turbo setup ready so I'll have to run the type IV in N/A form.

I know your pain Pete! I wish I had a set of carbs to use....and another set I could lend to you!

Those carbs will most likely be owned by Rod R by that time, but if not,
who ever is closest to the competion gets to use them.
Otherwise Rod can make the difficult descision!

They will need a thorough going through though.

Thanks for all the great replys guys !!! I'm checking with a bloke that knows a bloke that has 45 Dell's sitting on a bus thats not used at moment. I have tune up of old carbs (45 Dell's ) to make it easier .
I will know soon about them !

Craig 44idf are they same stud pattern as Dell's in manifolds ? I have manifolds .
I know webbers more ! then Dell's .

Allan , those are yours to borrow first mate ! Who ever own's them !

Pete,
When the dyno day is over pop me an e-mail as I have a brand new set of 45 dells doing nothing currently on my 66 beetle as it is off the road. I am just on the southside of Brisvegas (Springfield).
