been having a bit of trouble holding idle lately

Tune the 34 pict
1 turn out air by pass
2.5 turns out for the mixture screw

After a days driving i have to heel toe to keep the idle up at lights.
Check the carb and the air by pass has bottomed out
re-tune and alls well

A day later it wont hold idle and the air by pass is bottomed out.

I have a lock on the engine lid so no one is fiddling.
The screw does feel "loose" and yes the O ring is there

Guessing it is a drop of Locktite 222

Anyone else had this problem????

Nah - pretty sure it is the problem.

Stuch a blob of blue tac in the recess to hold the screw still and all is well.
Picked up a kit from CSC that has the 2 O rings.

Dave hasnt given back my KY yet so i will have to go to the chemist on Saturday
