My 1835 doesnt appear to be firing on 1 & 3 the compression is good I did a cylinder leak down test and that is all good the valves are all adjusted correctly the plugs are new the leads are good I am starting to run out of ideas and the ones that are left are not very appealing if anyone has 2 cents to through in feel free

running kardrons by chance?
or similar small single barrel twin carbs
they often have a tendency to do this but only at idle

the leads are ok and in the right order if they were out the missing and backfiring would only get worse ?

many single-barrel twin carbs (Kadrons etc) exhibit this behaviour at idle
