Hi,

I am looking to sell my king & link pin beam which has had all the yummy mods done. This beam slowly got built up as I ran my perpetually in project stage bug, so probably the most KMs on a component (apart from the original beam itself) is at the most 5000 (and I think that is a major overestimate). Selling as I went to ball joint as the brakes I wanted were easier to adapt to ball joint.

Here's a rundown on what's been done:

- CB Performance disk brake dropped spindles (2.5 inch drop). Very good option if you want to go Porsche drilled rotors on a link pin bug with decent stoppers. 2000KM use. Painted with POR15.
- Koni adjustable dampers. 2000KM use.
- Whiteline adjustable swaybar. I ran this on just a stock front end and it adds a lot to the fun factor 🙂. 5000Km use.
- Rebuilt K&L pins. 2000KM use.
- Welded in adjusters. Mid-way placement to raise (since you've already got 2.5 inch drop in the spindles) or even lower some more (!).
- Recently stripped and painted with black enamel. Not a super resilient finish, but better than a patchy 40+ job.

In short this is a freshly rebuilt, ready to run beam that is an awesome street level of tune.

Here are some pics. Note I have just dummied up the assembly (I had stripped it down to paint - was doing my ball joint beam so why not this) and have only really finished one side, but all beam components will be assembled and included with the exception of a steering box and dogbone.

I am looking for $600. When you consider the spindles cost $200+, sway bar $200+, shocks $300+, + adjusters, +rebuild, that is a massive loss for me and a massive bargain for you.

Located near Moorooka, Brisbane. Preferred contact is post/PM.

Thanks for looking.

Peter

Yep the beam is still available.

It is fully reconditioned so ready to use, but you must factor in the spindles are disk brake, so will complicate matters is you aren't running 4 stud (or porsche stud pattern) rotors.
