Well, unfortunately the time has come, way too early really! I've been pondering over this the last few months as some of you know and circumstances means that at this time i need to sell the bug. My wife and i bought a house in August last year and 'other' things are on the cards. I really really want to keep it, but its just not practical and its too much money sitting there not doing anything. I've also started a small side business which has consumed any time that i did have to work and play with the bug. I think the build thread ( http://aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=67295 ) speaks for itself - Alright, my mind is made up. Making my decision in light of 'the greater good'. Too much money sitting in the garage which could be used very wisely elsewhere. At this stage im stripping the whole car and will be keeping the shell and pan only for a rainy day. Its too good to sell for nothing. Unless someone offers me a good price for pan and shell, ill be keeping it. EVERYTHING ELSE IS NOW FOR SALE - EVERY PART. yeh the beam is narrowed, 2 inch, adjustable - i'm selling the tie rods and steering arms etc with it too (within the $350) as it has all been narrowed accordingly too.

Balljoint beams started in 68 here... so if Mick's beam is a balljoint (pretty sure it is.... Mick ?) then yup, it'll fit a 71 beam bug no probs.

The 71 needs to be a BEAM bug, not a Super...
