Well, unfortunately the time has come, way too early really! I've been pondering over this the last few months as some of you know and circumstances means that at this time i need to sell the bug. My wife and i bought a house in August last year and 'other' things are on the cards. I really really want to keep it, but its just not practical and its too much money sitting there not doing anything. I've also started a small side business which has consumed any time that i did have to work and play with the bug. I think the build thread ( http://aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=67295 ) speaks for itself - Alright, my mind is made up. Making my decision in light of 'the greater good'. Too much money sitting in the garage which could be used very wisely elsewhere. At this stage im stripping the whole car and will be keeping the shell and pan only for a rainy day. Its too good to sell for nothing. Unless someone offers me a good price for pan and shell, ill be keeping it. EVERYTHING ELSE IS NOW FOR SALE - EVERY PART. Bought my wife a lounge and looking for a nice stone dinning table - bought a new guitar and amp, and have a few other things in mind.

We had 2 cars, no time for bug, so moving it on 👍

yeah but the idea of it lookin like an auto & the constant thing from friends that arent dubbers goin, WTF is that auto? whenever they see the T handles is irritating, will see how it feels but i think ill end up with one, totally agree though reub, insanely pricey 😢
