have been thinking about some new rims and just can decide between the empi five spoke and the american eagle five spoke
heres the empi

I vote empi Barls,
The American eagles look to big aroud the bolt holes and look more HOT ROD to me.

Think you're right, h. My memory isn't too good these days, but got an idea ROD PENROSE may have some.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

You know what. They are Different wheels, and if you did some research you would know the differnce. Empi ones have "original" style centre caps that screw on, and the american Eagle ones have a push in centre cap with no screws. Now, it might not be a huge issue for you what style cap it has, but there are others that want the original style. I would think, that is why Rod Put the different adds up, as they are not the same wheel....

So barls, Which style you gonna buy...Rods got both styles!

The American Eagles used to bea better casting

dont know these days probally made in the same chinese factory

I know thw EMPI carbies had lots of porisity in the early days and used to leak

Barls,as a sponsor AND a moderator,how about you stop stirring the pot.........and I'd go the American Eagles.Rod has some for sale at a good price.
