Hey There, I'm going to get this back together for Warwick ( 5 weeks) Crank has been ground, ordered bearing, new rods, elc fuel pump, clutch and pressure plate. I have a light weight seat to go in and some new light wheels for the front too.
Hoping to get a TNT in before Warwick ( shit I can't wait, what an unreal weekend)
Don't normally go for rats but I think this would look great.
68 Baja - It's a growing pain!
58 Baja ute - and the pain spreads!
85 T3 Kombi - still growing
89 T3 Kombi - parts car
I went out and had a run at Willobank last night, I have an issue with it not wanting to idle but apart from that its ready for Warwick. (something to do will low air speed and almost no venturi effect???? through the revs and top end is unreal)

1/4 14.113 92.2mph

Thats good Frosty 13s are not far now!
Yep still stock valves...
Totally amazing efforts Frosty.... And here I thought the 14.8's I was doing with my NA 1776 was pretty good.... Your totally kicking it mate!
Thanks Humpty, it has been quite a bit of trial and error (with some advice too) . I think now the only way it will get any quicker is a better box ....( but i have said that a couple of times before)
All sorted now and ready for Warwick, just got to get the camping gear out.
Love the chassis strengtheners you've got there!!!.... And the sponge in the ash tray is for?
You prolly do this, but I thought I would mention it.... I fit tape over the handbrake button when I'm racing.... Makes staging a bunch safer and easier....
Don't forget the Warwick videos for those of us that can't be there!!!!!!
Hey Humpty, the sponge, it go's round a camera that mounts in the back ( stops a bit of the shake) and the strengther... when we took the body of the original pan the holes were stripped so i had to add those to bolt through. You missed the roll of tape in the door....I have no idea why i put it there.
I have never been a big fan of using the handbrake when starting...might have to give it a go.
I think there wil be stacks of video this year, seems like everyone has one of the Hero brand digital camera's
Looks awesome Jason!!
Hope that tank is bolted in!!
Thanks for the food donation, should come in handy!!

Wahoo, just found this at the front door..( just in time for Warwick) . I opened it and shit it might take a while to workout the advance and max advance springs.
I'm sure there will be plenty of fellas who know their way around that gear.... Think Dave runs it in the lil' white Muffin Muncher!
Whack it in, through in a 8500 chip and work from there...
😀
I would ask dave but he away for a while
I went out to Willobank last night and again I've have had a best run,
60' 1.884
1/8 8.796 @ 75.65 mph
1/4 14.014 @ 93.09 mph (not my fastest mph)
Time for some work round the house.....
Holy cr#p dude....14.0 fantastic result....now get to work....on the volksie 😂

I can't thank you enough for your advise Dave, it was a bit twitchy in the stearing but definitly no change in toe in/out at any suspension height. (shit it would have been a disaster where I had originaly put the rack) I did get asked to finish up for the night by the Andra guy because I didn't have an engine lid on. He said that any engine that you could get caught in while running in the staging lanes must be covered. I could see where he was coming from...
I will try to get some pics soon but have to go to work today.
Thanks
Jason
