Hi All,
I am chasing one piece glass for my 54.
I sold some replacement panels to someone in WA to take his one piece back to vent windows. Think his name started with a S and he is a member on here. If anyone knows who I am talking about please let me know.

I believe the door glass are the same left or right...
its just the bottom piece that is different... ?

they are different as the SEKURIT etching would face to the outside to the rear top of the glass
good luck t54

Does anyone know if the mechanism would be different? Could I just use my 54 Mechs, take out the quarter window and run plexan 1 piece windows? i was thinking of doing the little cutout like the standard split 1 piece windows?

from what i know and past cars you need dual lift regulators otherwise the window will fall over

I found the one pieca glass windows.
You will not be able to use your 54 winders.
Funny I am still trying to reverse what the PO did and you want to do it to yours well each to their own .
Anyway the glass is here you can have it if you like.
The window winders that the PO made for the car were any later style winder mechs but he cut the ends of and then rewelded them on shorter and on an almost right angle facing up.
Unfortunatly I cut them apart and rewelded them together straight trying to put everything back to stock.
Also you will need to cut out the metal bit that holds the 1/4 window in place (that was the oiece you send to me all that time ago but it needs welding in so I have been waiting for the next paint job...)
How about we just swap doors....🙂
ps
How good are your doors, mine are mint. No Rust no bog.

my doors are good too one has a skim of bog under the chrome trim but I did that myself and as this was my first attempt at bodywork may not even have needed it.
but no rust.
youre in sa though arent you how is the transport gonna work any ideas?
Fancy a drive?
Not sure. Let me think about it.
