Early days yet for this build, but things are a little quiet on the forum lately so thought you guys may want to see some jobs we have going on at the MBMS workshop. This one will keep the strut lovers happy. The brief.....street / circuit car.....fast, to compete at club level (with a bit of sibling rivalary going on.....his brother runs 61/2's at Lakeside in a Nissan and with development we need to beat him!!), big type 1 engine with Porsche cooling and dry sump, type 1 trans with Quaife ready to go, 944 turbo ally. rear arms and brakes, adjustable front end with Porsche brakes, composite panels and 6 point or better cage for saftey and chassis ridgedity. Below is some insperation for the build courtesy of Remmel So far the extremely clean primary car has been stripped and seam sealers removed for inspection and the start of rust repairs.

Matt white car isn't the old "dak to the future" car is it?? Used to read about it all the time years ago but never did see anything published about whether or not it was ever finished and raced?

No Brenndan, white car is the old Oz VW Performance Center car. Never actually hit the track, but was used in thier advertising for years, they still have it in thier ad I believe. The old Holzl DTTF car was purchased by WPVW, now Wayne should be able to get that beast on the track !!

I believe the rack is Volvo, JVL, but lets be clear, not my car, I'm just building/rebuilding it 🙂

Looking forward to getting into the powerplant......hopefully I'll have a pedal at somestage too 🙂 🙂 🙂
