There are plenty of jobs out there, and people are just getting too picky when it comes to finding a job when the really need it. If i was at risk of losing my house or my family living out of a car, i would shovel elephant crap at the circus just to get by. It's ok to be picky while you have a current job but when the going gets tough you gotta take when you can get. Which is why i'm where i'm at. It could be worse.
running a business is like shovelling elephant crap
were you pay to shovel it alot of the time
when you have a trade that you committed time and effort into it would be nice to see some money come your way .no holiday pay sick pay and who works when you are sick or injured ? picky i think not

My wife has owned her own business for about 5 years and 9 out of 10 weeks she's lucky to bring home $100. I told her to never buy it but she really wanted to. She's put so much money into it and never sees a return.
My crappy wage of $18 an hour (gross) has to try and pay for rent ($375 a week), fuel ($100 a week), bills, food, clothing, school needs for our 2 daughters, and baby needs for our 8 week old boy. We've been struggling for years but i'll take any job that will help make life a bit more comfortable for my family.
My wife had planned on taking 3 months off maternity leave but had to go back to work 2 weeks later becuase the business wasn losing money and her workers were calling in sick. She whinges that we have no money, so i tell her to sell her business and get a regular job so she actually gets paid to work.
Sometimes you have to cut your losses and move on.
