It was a good night.
Stanley had a tappet cover gasket "suck in" on him so no damage.
Frosty ran a best of 13.7 ... he is stoked
The single cab ran a best of 17.2. I am happy with that for what it is (not a drag car)
Matt has some pics, but we will have to wait for them. (hint hint)
It was a whole lot of fun 👍

I did read that my bus when they originally came out took around 37 seconds to reach 60mph, so I guess there has been some improvement

Not a bad night considering

First pass set the shift light to 5000rpm and had the light glowing well before the end of the track so backed off and ran a 12.63 @ 97mph.
Got back to find oil dripping from rocker cover. Fixed what I thought was the problem and went again.
Got to half track smelt oil and shut it off. Pulled rocker cover off and found whole bottom section dragged in. Put it on the trailer but it's still running fine.

good to see a some volksies running especially Marcus and the SC

Not even close low 14's all nite. Couldn't get it to hook up on the kendas?was a full 3/10ths off in the 60,Gonna have to look at some torsion bars/shocks?it was either blowing the tires off or shaking but other than a bit slower than I'd like it's pretty good considering.

I had 5 runs.
It was nice and free (not much of a line up at any time)
I could have had 15 runs if I wanted.

First vid, Crazy Col far lane vs. Frosty near lane.

Crazy Col (coletrickle) on a solo

Marcus in his Kombi 2165cc 30 000+km old engine and trans. 🙂

Was it "who built your engine?"
Me... Dave Butler did the machining for me( and heaps of tips/advise) and it is seriously budget home job.
I'll refresh my post in "members rides"
Thanks

Sorry to answer Stanley's question but it was my Black Beetle , he backed off half track and still beat me by 1.2 sec.
Thanks
