rotary conversion?

hi there, something a bit nuts is going through my mind for my oval...a rotary conversion, as anyone done so, what needs to be done...all i want is to put the the engine in,still carby like a 12a..maybe turbo...don't want all the trouble of fuel injection..any comments would be much appreciated...also what gearbox to run? cheers

Well....everyone knows my views on the rotary engine, however thats got to be the most narrow minded reason not to own one.

where would this forum be to-day if the designers of the first horizontally opposed aircooled engine took that view.

and yes lowdown anything I say on this forum i would say to someones face.

Long live well engineered VW's with any powerplant even if it has to be a rotary.
