Loving your work guys 👍

I am looking forward to seeing the Junka going hard, fast and straight (I am making a special effort to get to Sydney and seeing this is part of the inspiration)

Have you seen the four inch bore motors ?

Nah . I haven't seen them but I have been told.
I thought about doing this years ago with Siamese barrels .but it was one off those things you never have time to finish off. I got all the drawing done for the maching side of things . But there is always something to do around here.
Do you know the link, or have any pics.
I'd like to see how they got around the oil galleries.

Volks World November 2012 did an article on it too.

They weld a piece of aly barstock down the oil gallery under the cooler, which is the exposed and partially removed when fly cutting for the 101.6mm barrels. New head stud locations too, obviously.

50 x 40 valves any one ? 3000cc plus.....

The biggest problem with the 4" bore is the lack of matterial between each bore. It gets quite thin. I have checked it out and the process becomes very involved with machining and ali welding, special heads and the cost becomes the sames as doing a big cc Type 4 engine which is more managable for most people.

Wow guys awesome work as always. I agree with the above post if you want 3000cc may as well use type 4, you can build it pretty much off the shelf, it will be slightly more expensive though.

Hi

I saw the car the other day. It looks sweet with new green paint on stuff, just needs a motor built.
