new crank.block. heads blah blah blah , same old cam an injection that i ran 99mph with.only i had 044s on it back then ,with a china crank, rods etc .
so basically everything changed bar the kitchen sink(cam and throttle bodies).
if this car doesn't get up and bogie now, there will be a camp fire .
Total fire ban at Warwick his weekend so it will just have to bogie!😂😂😂

lets see what mph she runs.the truth will come out there.
as long as i get over a 100 i will be happy.
for now.
i think the magic little number were looking for is 105mph.
got have a goal.
Try this: 🤓
http://www.wallaceracing.com/hpcalculatoreigth.php
At 1450lbs(?) you should have no trouble!

Mine at 1808lbs (damn muffins!) ran 100.4mph,
and 101 at 1786lbs at the '4m down hill' WSID,
with 250hp

.....6.50's at 105mph plus. 😎
Perhaps a little slower at Warwick altitude.

8250rpm in 3rd gear.

How heavy or should I say how light is your car westi? I thought I remember one of your crew saying it was lighter than Pageys car. his is roughly around 1300lbs from memory

my car used to weight 1410 with everything.
i don't know what it is now, could be heavier for all i know, but it is unlikely.
ti bolts ,exhaust and i cut out abit when i put the tinware in.but the new engine is heavy and i added new bars to the front and wheelie bars.so time will tell.
i was hoping for 1300lb but it might be a pipe dream.
i am about to load up ,so see you guys soon.
i hope everyone has a safe trip and i will see you all soon.
p.s i didn't bring the pushy or dress,i wont be needing it.

What an awesome weekend .
.thanks to all the drivers ,spectators , winners and losers , all of my crew and anyone else I forgot.
Thank you for making it all worth while.
I had the best time,
I may have been a little rusty on the driving.well maybe little is an understatement .( still my presence was enough to send someone into a couple off lollipops )
and the car has a few little issues to sort out.nothing major.
Thank you thank you thank you.

P.s
There was no pushy talk on the weekend .plenty of slinging though .( of the shit kind)
I think mike was being generous.
i think like most people they where happy to see it back sounding tuff as nails.
I hope everyone else that attended had a great time.

You will get your 105mph easy down at WSID,
judging by that 103.82.

Was a quick look from my phone. I should have read the thread!
Don't worry i'm appying Face to Palm.

To make up for my stupidity, I have created a folder with every photo I took with Junka in it. Including 2 vids. Camera work on the video isn't the best or the longest clip but its from next to the track.

Pretty sure Pauter has some of their new style rockers in stock now.
Also if you get stuck, I am sure the Pro Series Autocraft steel rockers will fit on your shaft,
just not sure about the stem location on your style heads.
You can put a smaller rocker on the exhaust.

cheers ironman.

dave i think i will mod the heads to suit jesel or something else of the shelf that is abit stiffer.
but for now i am searching ebay and shit for spares so i can keep running for now.
i should get about 20-30 runs before i brake the next 1.
i think it was the 3rd gear burnout that topped it off.
