quick question, can these be fitted with the motor still in the car? or is it advisable to remove the motor and box?

knowing i have one of these kit's ready to go, some people have asked about the "craigy bars", their size, and quality..........i think they're
great, really well made with no tollerence issues in the joints etc...........good value $$........here are some more piccies for
analysis............thanx Craig, sure saved me a lot of work!!!..........and i know he's not making a lot of $$ from the kit's, it's hardly worth
the effort............anyway's it's only money, can't take it with ya
nice and thick with no chance of flex IMHO.......
tollerences as close as you will get!!!
obviously been around a while, Craig has cleary marked all the left hand thread pieces!!!....fool proof!
as Craig has pointed out, add up 10 of these and you'll start seeing the $$ invested.............adjustable, well finished, strong and durable, most
importantly, serves the purpose it's designed for!!...........again, well done Craig and thanx!!

Hi Damian
I was never close enough to notice, I had a 3 bar (bought elsewhere before Craig made them) on the daily that the son was driving, not that he needed
it. Even with a 3 bar on a stocker you feel how much tighter the car is.

Hi Damian
Thanks for saying that, he only complained once about needing a bigger motor, I told him you need to be able to handle a stocker 1st.
Gets his Ps on the 1st November, scary thought.

too true Steve, stocker is enough for a long while!!...........i wouldn't loan my car to a young fella, even being a 1776...........beetles are great
cars to "grow up" in, with their nippy performance and handling, but lower than average top speeds..........mine was a lot of fun once set up with
all the goodies EXCEPT a decent motor
i'm sure you know all this anyways............still can't believe you're not still running around in that yellow SUPERbug you created, i loved that
car, watching it evolve each year!

Hi Damain
I keep telling him how good a 1600 goes, without a big lump like me sitting next to him, I have a low spec 1776 waiting to be fitted, maybe when he
gets his green Ps.
The new bug is getting close to going to the painters, would have been working on it all week on it but I picked up a wog at Warwick, most likely from
Keith Hausler.
